Money, Money, Money!

Money is one of the most frustrating things ever.
It is both a need and a want.
It also makes people crazy!
I can't figure out half of the time where my money is going, but when I look back on my spending, I don't regret any of it.
Still, when one is trying to save for University and pay off a car, things get tricky.
I was privileged to have my Dad pay for my Bible College years but now I'm on my own and feeling the pressure.
I'm privileged to be allowed to live at home without having to pay rent.
I probably could survive on my own...I would have to postpone my education by a few years though.
But in reality, I'm not in any kind of financial trouble.
I have the Lord to thank for everything that He has given me.
I can say that it is both a blessing and a curse to have enough money to have some of what you want along with everything you need.
Money is a dangerous idol, not to mention all of the things that it can buy.
I think it is about time to read "The Treasure Principle" by Randy Alcorn once again.
It is a great book to help people gain a proper perspective of money. :)
